Philips Philetta 204U

Hello :-)
This is my first post.
I have an Philips 204U since a couple of month.
The "problem" capacitors Philips teer-capacitors and Wima tropydur are replaced.
Radio is working, but not properly.
Hear some station on MW but none on SW.
I am suspicious of the trimmer capacitors C14,C18 and C38.
Have anybody out there some information to read about this capacitors?
There is a procedure in the manual......
Have search on your forum, but can not find anything about these capacitors.
In my radio there is free ends of the wire arond each cheramic rod.
Are they replacible with mica-capacitors 32pF?
Thankful for ALL information of these, for me unknown capacitors.

Kurt,they are not replaceable with mica-capacitors 32pf.
The simple procedure, with the variable C on a transmitter roughly in the middle.
For the MG temporarily replace C18 for a 30pf toll trimmer and adjust to maximum.
Then measure the capacity and then reset the string trimmer to the same capacity.
For the KG it is C14 in the same way.

Thanks for your answer Ben!
I was not able to send a picture of the capacitors into my message earlier.
But you understood the capacitors I ment.
Saw the name "draadgewonden condensator" somewhere.
Do you happend to have some data sheeet of those cheramic capacitors?
I am eager to know a bit more of those Philips wire wound capacitors.
Have search a lot on internet, but never found any information.
By the way, this forum is priceless with all information to read in Tips & Trucs!
