Hello friends,
Greetings from Spain.
I am repairing a Philips 834A and I have doubts with the R16 resistor. In the radio that I'm repairing this resistor is missing.
In one of the schematics this resistance is not included. In other schematics it is included.
Should I connect this resistor?
In the documentation there is no detail of the value of this resistance. What value does it have?

Hello Carlos.
In the available schematics i can not
Find a r16 resistor.
Is it possible a modification ??
What you can do is measuring some (anode)
Voltages.
In the available documentation the different voltages anode , grid etc is documented.

Hello Carlos,
I think this part is the same as in some 836A radio’s the value is 160ohm.

Hello Carlos,
I have a French Philips 834AS (identical to Radiola 427A) with the resistor R16.
The value is 160 ohm.

Philips 834AS / red arrow = R16 = 160 ohm

Lo mio 834A tiene la resistencia R16 y és de 160 ohmios
