..... voor de introductie van het getter heb ik nog geen patent kunnen finden. Wie was het eerst?
Dezelfde vraag heb ik ook in een Amerikaans Radio Forum geplaatst....

Nou, ik heb al een antwoord gekregen:

The first use of getters was recorded in 1894 when Malignani applied a suspension of red phosphorous onto the inside of the exhaust tube of an incandescent lamp to improve the vacuum

„Getters have a long history of solving contamination issues within hermetic systems. Research on inorganic or organic getter materials that are able to sorb small quantities of reactive gases in vacuum devices began late in the 19th century. The first use of the term “getter” was by Edison’s assistant Malignani in 1882. Malignani developed the technique of coating components of incandescent lamps with red phosphorous. Red phosphorous reacts with, or getters, water vapor, thereby breaking the water-tungsten cycle that limits lamp lifetime."

In 1922 was er een Radiotron buis WD11 gemaakt met een zogeheten "Lime-Getter"
Op de kneep zat een soort plaksel met een chemisch verbinding.

Maar waren er ook patenten hiervoor uitgegeven???
